Malaffi, meaning 'my file' in Arabic, is the region's first Health Information Exchange (HIE) platform operated by Abu Dhabi Health Data Services - Sole Proprietorship LLC (ADHDS), a M42 company established as a Public-Private Partnership with the Department of Health – Abu Dhabi (DoH). Launched in 2019, Malaffi safely and securely connects public and private healthcare providers across Abu Dhabi, enabling real-time exchange of patient health information across 2,700+ facilities. It is one of the most advanced HIE platforms globally, featuring predictive patient risk profiles, radiology image exchange, and a patient health portal. Malaffi supports 50,000+ clinical users and is integrated with UAE national health platforms Riayati and Nabidh.
