Regarding job alerts and notifications:
- Job alert preferences are stored in your account
- Push notifications require your device permission

- Notification tokens are used to send push notifications to your device
- You can opt out of notifications at any time
9. Company Page and Employer Data
For employer company pages:
- Company information is publicly visible to job seekers
- Employer contact information is displayed on company pages
- We may verify company information for authenticity
- Company page analytics are available to employers
10. Media and File Storage
When you upload media files:
- Files are stored in secure cloud storage
- We may compress or optimize files for performance
- Files are associated with your account and the content they belong to
- You can delete uploaded files by deleting the associated content

13. Paid features, subscriptions, and payments
Certain features—including Auto Apply for candidates and employer tools where fees apply—require payment. When you purchase a subscription or one-time access, we and our payment partners process information such as order ID, payment ID, amount, currency (pricing for Auto Apply is generally quoted in INR), subscription start and end dates, and feature tier. We use this data to deliver the feature, renew or expire access, detect fraud, and meet accounting and tax obligations.
Payment card or UPI details are collected by the payment provider according to their terms; we do not store full card numbers on our servers. See your payment provider's privacy policy for details on how they handle payment credentials.
14. Automated applications (Auto Apply)
If you subscribe to Auto Apply and enable it in your account, our systems may automatically submit job applications on your behalf to postings that match your saved criteria, using your profile and resume (or documents) you provide. Employers receive substantially the same application materials as for a manual application, identified as submitted through our platform.
You can adjust or turn off Auto Apply in your account settings. When your subscription ends or your profile no longer meets our eligibility checks, automated applications will not be sent. Auto Apply does not change how we handle personal data described elsewhere in this policy; it adds automation under your control.
15. Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. This includes encryption, secure servers, and regular security audits. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

17. Account deletion and recovery
You may request deletion of your Pulse Job account from our dedicated page: https://pulsjob.com/delete-account. You must be signed in to complete the request. You will be asked to confirm by typing a short confirmation phrase.
What happens when you delete your account. We do not immediately remove every database record. We mark your account as deleted (a "soft delete") so that we can honor recovery if you change your mind soon after, meet legal retention needs, and maintain integrity of applications or records where the law or legitimate interests require it. Further erasure or anonymization may occur on a schedule consistent with our retention policy and applicable law.
Recovery. If you try to sign in again with email and password after deletion, we will tell you that your account is scheduled for deletion and give you the option to recover your account. Recovery restores access to your account where technically and legally possible. Sign-in with some social providers may be limited until you recover using email and password, depending on how you originally registered.
Administrators. Admin accounts cannot be deleted through this self-service flow; contact [email protected] for assistance.

Job seeker profiles and application data may be retained for up to 2 years of inactivity unless a longer period is required by law or legitimate business need. You can request deletion of your account at any time via our Delete account page (sign-in required). 21. Children's Privacy
Our services are not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have collected information from a child, please contact us immediately.
