About the project
As a Senior BI Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in modernizing and streamlining our business intelligence ecosystem. You will lead the end-to-end migration, redesign, and optimization of legacy reports and dashboards into high-performing, scalable Tableau solutions. Working closely with cross-functional data teams and key business stakeholders, you will ensure data accuracy, enhance user experience, and drive seamless adoption across the organization.
What you’ll do
- Update and migrate Tableau dashboards and data sources from Redshift to Databricks connections.
- Validate that migrated dashboards return consistent results and performance compared to their Redshift-based originals.
- Work with the data engineering team to resolve any schema, naming, or data type differences that affect dashboard functionality.
- Troubleshoot connection, refresh, and performance issues arising from the platform change.
What makes you a great fit 🎯
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong hands-on experience with Tableau Desktop, including building and maintaining data source connections.
- Experience working with both Redshift and Databricks as data sources for BI tools.
- Familiarity with SQL and the ability to troubleshoot query and connection issues across platforms.
- Advanced English Level is required for this role, as you will work with US clients. Effective communication in English is essential to deliver the best solutions to our clients and expand your horizons.
