This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a .NET Backend Developer Specialist based in Brazil.
We are looking for a skilled backend developer to design, build, and evolve scalable digital solutions using modern .NET technologies. This role offers the opportunity to work on challenging engineering projects, contributing to architecture decisions, application modernization, and high-performance systems. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in an agile environment, applying best practices in software engineering, cloud infrastructure, and DevOps. ### Accountabilities:
The .NET Backend Developer Specialist will be responsible for developing and maintaining backend solutions, contributing to technical decisions, and ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of applications. The role combines hands-on development with collaboration across engineering teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Develop, implement, and maintain APIs and backend services using .NET Core and modern .NET versions.
- Collaborate in the architecture and implementation of new features, as well as continuous improvement of existing systems.
- Apply software engineering best practices, including SOLID principles, Clean Architecture, automated testing, and code quality standards.
- Build and maintain unit and integration tests to ensure application reliability.
- Implement and manage observability solutions, including metrics, logs, and traces, using tools such as Dynatrace.
- Monitor application health and performance, identifying bottlenecks and proposing optimization strategies.
- Work with cloud environments, deploying and managing services on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).
- Support containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Participate in agile ceremonies, technical discussions, and code reviews.
- Contribute to DevOps practices, CI/CD improvements, and automation initiatives.
## Requirements:
We are seeking a backend engineering professional with strong experience in .NET development, cloud technologies, and distributed systems. The ideal candidate has solid software engineering fundamentals, experience with modern architectures, and the ability to collaborate effectively in agile teams.
- Professional experience developing applications with .NET Core or .NET 6/7/8+ using C#.
- Strong knowledge of backend development, API design, and scalable service architectures.
- Experience with Dynatrace or similar observability platforms for monitoring, tracing, and performance analysis.
- Practical experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services.
- Experience working with Docker containers and Kubernetes orchestration, preferably with GKE.
- Strong SQL knowledge and experience with relational databases such as Oracle and PostgreSQL.
- Familiarity with microservices architecture and asynchronous communication patterns using messaging systems such as Kafka or Pub/Sub.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Knowledge of software quality practices, automated testing, and clean code principles.
- Ability to work collaboratively, solve complex technical challenges, and continuously improve solutions.
