Job Description

Achutha AI is hiring a senior Java Full Stack Developer for a Canada-based client on a remote contract basis. The role covers building scalable, data-driven web applications, integrating REST APIs and microservices, and deploying on AWS with a strong DevOps/CI-CD workflow. Working hours are 6:30 PM - 2:30 AM IST to overlap with the Canadian client's business day.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop scalable web applications and data-driven solutions
  • Design and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes
  • Build and integrate REST APIs with third-party systems
  • Deploy applications on AWS and maintain CI/CD pipelines
  • Troubleshoot production issues and optimize application performance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience with Java (Java 8+) and Spring Boot
  • Strong experience with React.js and frontend development
  • Hands-on experience with AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS)
  • DevOps experience with Jenkins, CI/CD, Git and GitHub
  • Solid understanding of system design and OOP concepts
  • Experience with REST APIs and microservices architecture
  • Strong SQL and database design skills
  • Experience with unit testing, regression testing and Agile methodology
