Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Java/Python Backend Developer with strong expertise in Kafka-based distributed systems and hands-on experience building AI-powered applications, chatbots, virtual assistants, or intelligent automation solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong backend engineering background, experience designing scalable microservices, and practical exposure to integrating Generative AI and LLM platforms into enterprise applications. This role requires developing robust backend services using Java and Python while leveraging Kafka for event-driven architectures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain backend services using Java and Python
  • Design and build scalable microservices architectures
  • Implement Kafka-based event-driven and distributed systems
  • Integrate Generative AI and LLM platforms into enterprise applications
  • Build and support AI-powered applications, chatbots, and virtual assistants
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver intelligent automation solutions

Requirements

  • Strong hands-on experience with Java and Python backend development
  • Proven expertise in Kafka and event-driven architectures
  • Experience designing and building scalable microservices
  • Hands-on experience with AI tools such as OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, LangChain, Semantic Kernel, or Hugging Face
  • Experience with RAG frameworks and Vector Databases
  • Experience with chatbot or virtual assistant development platforms
  • Must be a local candidate based in Ohio
  • Must be authorized to work on OPT EAD visa status only
