Summary of the Role: The Application Engineer (AE) is responsible for supporting their respective regional market (Americas, Europe or APAC) with technical support of aerospace products, materials and services. The primary objective is to work directly with sales engineers and aircraft manufactures, component OEMs, and aerospace MROs to advise product and material solutions per the customer’s requirements as well as specify Trelleborg Aerospace standards and modified standards. In addition, they will support the product design engineer on build to specification type designs for the purpose of generating formal solutions and subsequent proposals to be presented to the customer. The AE will work within their Value Stream, supporting all products within, as well as collaborate with other value streams to provide ideal customer solutions. Adopt intent-based leadership principles An Aerospace Application Engineer will utilize all tools within their means to recommend superior products and services.
