Quento Technologies S.A. seeks a highly motivated and experienced AI Solutions Architect - FDE, where FDE stands for Forward Deployed Engineer, you work directly with clients at the earliest stages of an opportunity: facilitating brainstorming sessions, understanding the business need, helping refine and challenge the problem statement, and translating client input into a credible technology and AI solution. Once a contract is established, you turn that solution into clear engineering requirements, align stakeholders on scope and delivery assumptions, and lead the transition from the solutions and pre-sales team to the delivery team — ensuring that what was promised can be built, shipped, and operated successfully in the client environment. Your responsibilities will entail: - Ship production GenAI applications — RAG systems, agentic workflows, LLM-powered products — inside client environments, from architecture through deployment, evaluation, and handover; - Own the full stack of an engagement: data plumbing, orchestration, model integration, APIs, evaluation harnesses, observability, and the minimal UI needed to put the system in users' hands; - Drive technical pre-sales for strategic pursuits: rapid proofs of concept, architecture workshops, and live demos that turn client ambition into scoped, winnable delivery work; - Operate confidently under regulation: design and document systems that satisfy GDPR, and EU AI Act from day one auditability, evaluation evidence, and resilience are part of the build, not an afterthought; - Convert engagements into assets: between deployments, distill patterns into accelerators, reference architectures, and internal tooling that make the next engagement faster; - Multiply the organization: run one enablement workshop per engagement cycle, mentor engineers across our delivery teams, and represent Quento at meetups and conferences - building your technical brand alongside ours; - Ensuring that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements and supporting the continued implementation of the Group Anti-Bribery and Corruption Policy. What we will develop together: - Deep fluency in our AI-native delivery model and AI-SDLC framework — you will help shape it, not just follow it; - Domain depth per engagement: insurance, banking, credit management. We staff you with domain experts; you bring the build; - Advanced platform certification paths (Databricks, Azure AI) on company time and budget.Pre-sales craft: solutioning, estimation, and proposal contribution alongside senior architects. - University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; - Production GenAI experience — plural and provable. You have shipped LLM applications (RAG, agents, or comparable) with real users, and you can walk us through an incident, what your evals caught and missed, and what you changed; - Evaluation and LLMOps discipline. Eval design, regression testing of prompts and agents, observability, and cost/latency optimization are part of how you build — not a phase you skip; - Full-stack pragmatism. You can stand up an application end to end on your own: Python, modern orchestration frameworks, APIs, and enough frontend to ship. Strong software engineering fundamentals — testing, version control, CI/CD; - Cloud production experience, ideally on Azure; hands-on Azure Databricks or Azure AI Foundry is a strong plus; - Customer-facing composure. You can run a whiteboard session with a client architect one day and develop a demo to a business stakeholder in another. You intelligently explain trade-offs to senior managers and stakeholders; - Comfort in regulated environments. You have worked where GDPR is table stakes, and you treat auditability and data boundaries as design inputs. Familiarity with the EU AI Act is a plus we will deepen; - Languages. Fluent Greek and English — this role is client-facing in the Greek market; - 5+ years in software or ML engineering, with the last 2+ focused on applied GenAI.
