Job Description

AKOVA is expanding its technology team in Kolkata and is looking for a Backend Developer to help build scalable, secure backend systems for its fintech and GPS tracking products. The role offers the chance to work on innovative, technology-driven solutions alongside a passionate and growing team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and build scalable backend systems and REST APIs
  • Manage and optimize relational and NoSQL databases
  • Integrate secure payment gateway solutions
  • Deploy and maintain services using AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes
  • Collaborate with the team on FinTech and GPS tracking products

Requirements

  • 1-4 years of backend development experience
  • Proficiency in Node.js, Python, or Java
  • Experience with REST APIs and database management
  • Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL or MongoDB
  • Familiarity with AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes
  • Experience with payment gateway integration and secure backend development
