Job Description
We are seeking experienced Mechanical Engineers to contribute specialized domain expertise to an innovative AI training initiative. In this role, the engineer will apply real-world engineering concepts to develop high-quality training datasets that help next-generation AI models learn, reason, and solve complex problems. No prior AI experience is required. This is a remote contract engagement lasting 3-6 months, with flexible options for 20 or 40 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities
- Create clear, accurate single-choice questions grounded in mechanical engineering concepts for AI training datasets
- Translate advanced principles in solid mechanics, structural mechanics, dynamics, vibration, and thermal-fluids into accessible assessment content
- Document detailed technical explanations and rationales for answers to support AI reinforcement learning
- Conduct rigorous technical reviews and implement formatting/content revisions based on project feedback
- Collaborate remotely with project coordinators and maintain accurate records using digital platforms to meet delivery milestones
Requirements
- 4 to 10 years of experience in mechanical engineering (Manufacturing/Industrial/Production/Machinery)
- Master's degree or PhD in Mechanical Engineering highly preferred
- Advanced competency across Solid & Structural Mechanics, Dynamics & Vibration, and Thermal-Fluids
- Proficiency with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and digital workflow tools
- Exceptional English technical writing ability for educational content creation and assessment design
- Available 100% remote for a 3-6 month contract, 20 or 40 hours per week
