Job Description
Our client, based in Kentucky, is looking for an experienced Software Developer with strong expertise in EDI and EDIFECS to design, build, and support enterprise EDI integration solutions. This is a remote contract opportunity for a professional comfortable working across cross-functional technical teams to deliver reliable, high-performance EDI applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain EDI solutions using EDIFECS
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver technical solutions
- Enhance existing EDI applications for performance and reliability
- Perform testing, debugging, and production support
- Troubleshoot EDI-related issues and provide technical support
- Document technical processes and follow industry best practices
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with the EDIFECS Suite
- Strong knowledge of EDI standards and protocols (X12, HIPAA, etc.)
- Proficiency in .NET and Visual Studio
- Strong programming skills in C# and Java
- Experience with XML and XSD
- Experience with EDI Agent pre- and post-processing
- Working knowledge of SQL
- Strong software development and troubleshooting skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
- EDIFECS/EDI certifications are a plus
