As part of our Automotive Engineering Services team, you will learn and contribute to telematics and connected vehicle solutions that support the next generation of intelligent, connected vehicles.In this role, you will support system engineering activities for telematics products, including requirements analysis, technical documentation, system design support, and validation. You will work closely with senior engineers, global teams, and cross-functional stakeholders while developing your skills in automotive connectivity, embedded systems, and connected vehicle technologies.What You Will Do - Participate in structured training and onboarding programs. - Learn and apply systems engineering, software development, testing, and product development processes. - Support system engineering and requirement engineering activities, including understanding customer requirements, reviewing requirements, maintaining requirement traceability and assisting in requirement documentation under guidance. - Support development, integration, and validation activities under the guidance of senior engineers. - Assist in debugging, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis of software and system issues. - Create and maintain technical documentation, reports, and test artifacts. - Collaborate with cross-functional and global engineering teams to support project deliverables and learn end-to-end product development processes. - Support customer requirement analysis, impact assessments, and change management activities with guidance from experienced team members. - Assist in vehicle testing, issue investigation, and validation activities for connected vehicle, infotainment, and telematics features. - Support any new product demos under the guidance of senior engineers. - Learn and apply industry standards, regulatory requirements, functional safety, and engineering best practices in daily work activities. - Participate in technical reviews, team discussions, and knowledge-sharing sessions. - Continuously enhance technical and professional skills through training, mentorship, and self-learning. What You Need to Be Successful - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Computer Science, Telecommunications, Automotive Engineering, or a related field. - Basic knowledge of software development concepts through coursework, academic projects, or internships. - Basic understanding of Systems Engineering concepts, including requirements management, system integration, verification, and validation, is preferred. - Exposure to telematics or wireless communication technologies such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 4G/LTE, or 5G is a plus. - Basic understanding of in-vehicle communication protocols such as CAN or Ethernet is preferred. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with curiosity and enthusiasm for automotive and connected vehicle technologies. - Good English communication skills for working with global teams. - Ability to collaborate in a multicultural, cross-functional team environment. - Willingness to learn new technologies and contribute to innovative automotive solutions. - Japanese communication skills to work with local teams and customers in Japan.
