As a Senior Full Stack Engineer on our Credit/Terms team, you'll play a key role in building the systems that power our infrastructure. While the role is primarily backend-focused, you'll have the opportunity to contribute across the stack, influence technical direction, and take ownership of initiatives that align with your expertise and interests. Whether it's architecture, infrastructure, AI-powered capabilities, developer experience, performance optimization, or mentoring other engineers, you'll have the freedom to shape your technical journey while helping build a scalable, reliable platform. - Own the full software development lifecycle, from architecture and design to deployment and monitoring, with a primary focus on backend systems. - Design, build, and maintain scalable, high-performance RESTful APIs for internal and external integrations. - Develop reliable, low-latency payment services that support a growing production environment. - Collaborate closely with Product,Risk, Design, and Engineering teams to deliver impactful features in an Agile environment. - Drive architectural discussions and influence technical decisions across the team. - Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues while continuously improving system performance and reliability. - Mentor fellow engineers through technical guidance, code reviews, and knowledge sharing. - Take ownership of technical initiatives beyond your day-to-day responsibilities, such as infrastructure improvements, developer tooling, AI adoption, platform enhancements, security, or other engineering challenges that move the organization forward. - Continuously evaluate new technologies and best practices to improve engineering quality, scalability, and developer productivity. - 5+ years of experience in server-side development (Node.js is strongly preferred). - Experience with frontend development using React or a similar framework. - Strong understanding of distributed systems and microservices architecture. - Experience working with production-scale databases such as PostgreSQL and MongoDB, including optimization and performance tuning. - Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services, including Serverless, Kubernetes, and Docker. - Solid understanding of RESTful API design and modern service-oriented architectures. - Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Agile development practices. - Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams. - Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate technical concepts into practical solutions. - Curiosity and a desire to take ownership of technical challenges beyond your core responsibilities.
