# About Plane Plane’s mission is to build the infrastructure the world’s work runs on. The Senior Backend Engineer will leverage modern technologies such as Python, event-driven streaming and change-data-capture for real-time data synchronization, and advanced caching to reduce latency and load, boosting performance and system reliability. Collaboration, innovation, and a commitment to sharing meaningful solutions with the open-source community are key aspects of success in this position.
