Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Python Developer with 11+ years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable enterprise applications. The ideal candidate has strong expertise in Python development, cloud technologies, REST APIs, databases, and microservices architecture, with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment. Onsite roles available in Alpharetta, GA, Parsippany, NJ, and other New Jersey locations; in-person interview required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable Python applications
  • Build high-performance RESTful APIs and microservices
  • Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and development teams to deliver high-quality software
  • Optimize application performance and troubleshoot production issues
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
  • Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices
  • Ensure application security, reliability, and scalability
  • Work closely with QA teams for testing and deployment

Requirements

  • 11+ years of experience in Python development
  • Strong proficiency in Python, OOP, and design patterns
  • Experience with Django, Flask, or FastAPI
  • Strong knowledge of RESTful API design and microservices architecture
  • Hands-on experience with SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB or DynamoDB)
  • Good understanding of AWS cloud platform services
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
  • Strong knowledge of Git and CI/CD pipelines
  • Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments
  • Experience with messaging technologies such as Kafka or RabbitMQ
  • Knowledge of unit testing frameworks such as PyTest or Unittest
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
