Specific Responsibilities: Business Development/Sales/Marketing: - Identify and document prospective opportunities in their CRM system, ensuring timely updates and understanding customer requirements. - Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders and maintain a robust client relationship program. - Represent the company at trade shows, respond to inquiries promptly, and advocate for continuous improvement in customer experience. - Drive marketing strategy through collaboration with our marketing department and attend professional development opportunities. Proposals/Estimates: - Ensure timely receipt of RFQs and collaborate with the estimating team in proposal preparation. - Negotiate terms and conditions in line with company policies and review final purchase orders for accuracy. - Follow up with clients post-proposal submission to gather competitive intelligence. Business Process Improvements: - Contribute to enhancing sales and estimating processes, applying knowledge of risk management. - Support strategic capacity-building exercises to drive organizational growth. Reporting Relationships/Accountabilities: - Report to the Senior Vice President, Business Development and Engineering. Qualifications & Skills: - Bachelor's degree preferred in Commerce, Business Administration, Engineering, or relevant discipline. - Minimum 10 years of experience in selling custom-manufactured equipment, with international experience favored. - Demonstrated people leadership and strong communication skills. - Flexibility to thrive in a fast-paced environment and ability to work collaboratively across teams. - Experience in strategic planning and executing sales pipeline strategies. - Robust Network in Oil, Gas, Energy, and Petrochemical Industries. - US Travel and Sales Experience would be considered an asset.
