Job Description
The Business Intelligence Associate, Snowflake Developer will be responsible for building data pipelines using their deep knowledge of Talend, SQL and Data Analysis on the bespoke Snowflake data warehouse for Enterprise Intelligence.

The Impact you will have in this role:
The Business Intelligence Associate, Snowflake Developer will be responsible for building data pipelines using their deep knowledge of Talend, SQL and Data Analysis on the bespoke Snowflake data warehouse for Enterprise Intelligence.
Your Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain data models to support analytics and reporting requirements.
- Write and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and data transformations within Snowflake.
- Support the building and maintenance of data pipelines and ELT/ETL workflows on the Snowflake platform.
- Assist in implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins for automated testing and deployment.
- Manage code changes and collaborate with the team through Bitbucket, following established branching strategies and code review practices.
- Work with analysts and product teams to understand business requirements and translate them into data solutions.
- Follow data quality standards and contribute to documentation and governance practices.
- Participate in code reviews, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Familiarity with dbt, Airflow, or similar data transformation/orchestration tools. (Preferable)
- Experience with Power BI — building dashboards, datasets, DAX measures, and row-level security. (Preferable)
- Background in reporting and analytics — creating executive-level reports and self-service reporting solutions. (Preferable)
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of related experience
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
Talents Needed for Success:
- Minimum of 5 years of related data warehousing work experience
- 4+ years managing data warehouses in a production environment. This includes all phases of lifecycle management: planning, design, deployment, upkeep and retirement.
- 4+ years managing distributed teams with an employee/vendor mix
- Proven experience in optimizing, and maintaining complex SQL queries, stored procedures
- Modern data warehousing principles and practices
- Good understanding of star/snowflake schemas and data integration methods and tools
- Working experience with Snowflake data warehouses, including writing queries, loading data, and basic performance tuning.
- Understanding of dimensional and relational data modeling concepts (star schema, snowflake schema).
- Strong SQL skills — writing complex queries, joins, CTEs, window functions, and basic query optimization.
- Experience working with CI/CD pipelines for code or data deployments. (Jenkins, bitbucket, Autosys)
- Good communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.

- Ability to work under pressure, multitask, and be flexible as a member of a small team that must balance handling multiple priorities at any given time
