Role: CAD Drafter/Designer (Intermediate Level)Compensation: Competitive Basic SalaryBenefits: HMO plus 2 Free Dependents, P1,500 Rice Allowance, Night Differential (If applicable).Work Schedule: 5-day work week, Monday - Friday 9:00 PM - 6:00 AM Philippine time (schedule may change after DST) Work Setup: WFH  Position Overview The Intermediate Drafter/Designer plays an important technical role in supporting the planning, design, and execution of underground and surface mining projects. This position is responsible for independently preparing and coordinating technical drawings and design packages while working closely with engineers, project managers, and site personnel. The Intermediate Drafter/Designer applies practical drafting and design knowledge to support project development, construction coordination, procurement activities, and field execution. This role contributes to the successful delivery of projects through accurate drafting, technical problem solving, and effective coordination with multidisciplinary teams. Key Responsibilities - Prepare, review, and revise detailed technical drawings and design packages for underground and surface mining projects. - Develop layouts, sections, plans, and construction details for civil, mechanical, structural, and mining infrastructure projects. - Coordinate drawing development with engineers, project managers, procurement personnel, and field operations teams. - Ensure drafting deliverables comply with project specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. - Perform field verification and site assessments to support design development and as-built documentation. - Support project planning and constructability reviews through practical drafting and design input. - Assist with material take-offs, procurement support, and equipment layout coordination. - Maintain drawing control systems, revision tracking, and document management processes. - Identify drafting discrepancies or design conflicts and communicate solutions to project teams. - Provide mentoring and guidance to junior drafting personnel as required. - Participate in project meetings, coordination reviews, and progress discussions. - Support continuous improvement initiatives related to drafting standards, workflows, and project execution. - Promote and comply with company HSEE policies, procedures, and safe work practices. - Other duties as required to meet project and/or business needs.  Qualifications - Diploma in Drafting Technology or a related field. - Minimum of 3 years of experience as a CAD Drafter, preferably in the mining industry. - Experience in Heavy Industrial, EPCM, Oil & Gas, Tunneling, or Infrastructure projects is also highly regarded. - Experience working on underground mining or underground civil infrastructure projects is preferred. - Proficient in AutoCAD (required). - Experience with SolidWorks is an advantage but not required. - Experience preparing drawings for: - Underground mining and civil infrastructure projects - Greenfield and brownfield developments - Structural concrete, structural steel, and timber structures - Mine layouts - Brownfield repairs and mine closure projects - Familiarity with conceptual and detailed design documentation. - Ability to interpret engineering sketches, markups, and design instructions to produce accurate technical drawings. - Comfortable working closely with engineers and gradually contributing to conceptual design development, rather than performing production drafting alone. - Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple drafting tasks within project deadlines. - Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
