Job Description

ChicMic Studios is looking for a skilled Python and AI Engineer to join our team in Mohali. You will be responsible for developing AI-powered products and backend systems, contributing to real-world solutions across healthcare, finance, retail, education, and more. You will work in a collaborative and inclusive culture, with access to learning and development programs to fuel your growth.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop scalable Python-based backend services and AI pipelines
Build, train, and deploy machine learning and deep learning models
Integrate AI/ML models into production applications via REST APIs
Optimize existing AI systems for performance and scalability
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data scientists, frontend developers, and product managers
Research and implement state-of-the-art AI techniques relevant to project needs
Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code

Requirements

3-7 years of professional experience with Python and AI/ML development
Strong hands-on experience with frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, or Scikit-learn
Proficiency in building RESTful APIs using FastAPI, Flask, or Django
Experience with NLP, computer vision, or generative AI is a plus
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) for model deployment
Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles
Experience with containerization tools like Docker or Kubernetes
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, AI, or related field
