You will lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the accounting department and play a vital role in maintaining the company's financial stability and health. As a Chief Accountant, you’re not just ensuring accurate and timely recording of financial data – you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest. ### Responsibilities Here’s what you’ll do during a typical day: - Ledger Management: Adjust general ledger accounts and maintain supporting documentation. - Compliance Review: Investigate cashier discrepancies and verify travel agent commissions for compliance. - Budget Support: Assist the Director of Finance and the Assistant DOF in budget and forecast preparation. - F&B Control Oversight: Review food and beverage control adjustments and certifications. - Interdepartmental Coordination: Collaborate with other departments and government agencies on accounting matters. - Policy Compliance: Ensure adherence to accounting policies, SOPs, and internal controls. ### Qualifications At Hilton, our core values define what it takes to succeed here and guide the qualities we look for in every team member: A passion for spreading the light and warmth of Hospitality.
