Team Overview: The Services & Maintenance team provides ongoing support and upkeep for installed mechanical and electrical systems, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and longevity. They deliver scheduled maintenance, troubleshooting, and emergency repairs, working closely with clients to minimise downtime and extend asset life. This department plays a vital role in sustaining customer satisfaction and protecting the long-term value of our solutions. Role Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled CHP Engineer with a keen interest in progressing into the Biomass sector. This is an exceptional opportunity for a technically minded individual who possesses a solid background in Commercial Plumbing & Heating and/or Commercial Electrical Industry, with biomass specific training provided by the company. The ideal candidate will have a robust work ethic and a desire to grow within our innovative company. As a CHP Engineer, you will be responsible for the ongoing Planned & Re-active maintenance, day-to-day repairs and ensuring commercial biomass heating installations are maintained in line with legislative and contractual compliance. Your role will encompass a variety of tasks that ensure the optimum performance and reliability of our systems. Job Title | CHP Engineer Location | Glasgow Hours | | Full-Time, Permanent. Negotiable depending on location Salary | Competitive Depending on Experience Responsible to | S&M Manager ### What You'll be Doing Responsible for delivering planned and reactive maintenance across commercial heating and associated mechanical, electrical, and control systems, including pumps, control valves, pressurisation units, fuel stores, and augers. The role involves developing expertise in the biomass sector through tailored training and on-site learning, responding efficiently to equipment breakdowns, and using engineering knowledge and initiative to minimise downtime. Duties also include completing high-quality servicing work in line with legislative and contractual requirements, maintaining accurate digital maintenance records, providing excellent customer service, building strong client relationships, and collaborating effectively with internal teams and other departments to support seamless operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver planned and reactive maintenance for commercial heating and mechanical systems
