Job Description
We are building the next generation of our operations platform based on modern Linux and cloud infrastructure technologies. We are looking for a DevOps engineer with a strong cloud focus to help us design, automate, secure, and scale it.
Our systems support a wide range of high-tech products and environments from rack servers and laptops to embedded systems deployed across remote customer sites. At the core is a strong Linux foundation, combined with cloud infrastructure, automation, observability and secure operations.
As part of our Infrastructure DevOps team, you will work closely with software development, support, and operations to design new infrastructure solutions and solve complex operational challenges for customers in Denmark, across Europe, the USA, and Japan.
You will have the opportunity to interact with various high-tech products and technologies such as Doppler radars, machine vision, and 3D graphics. Creating the tools and resources to help build a reliable, scalable, and secure cloud-connected infrastructure platform.
What will you be doing?
- Develop and maintain robust cloud and infrastructure platforms supporting thousands of distributed Linux-based systems.
- Design, deploy, and operate scalable cloud infrastructure, networking, and automation solutions across multiple environments.
- Build reliable tools, services, and deployment pipelines for software development, support, and operations teams.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, deployment, and configuration using infrastructure-as-code and DevOps practices.
- Improve observability through monitoring, logging, alerting, and automated recovery mechanisms.
- Define and implement security policies, firewall rules, access controls, and cloud hardening practices.
- Support cost, performance, reliability, and delivery improvements across a constantly evolving infrastructure landscape.
- Contribute to the architecture and direction of our DevOps and Azure cloud infrastructure platform.
- Troubleshoot complex issues across cloud infrastructure, networks, Linux servers, containers, and distributed systems.
What will you NOT be doing?
- Developing customer-facing software – you will support internal development teams
- Providing IT support or installing workstations for your colleagues
- Physically installing servers and networks at remote locations – that is handled by field operations
Who are you?
- You have 4+ years of experience in a similar role, such as DevOps Engineer, Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, Linux Systems Administrator, Network Engineer, Security Engineer, or Software Developer working in complex infrastructure environments.
- You have strong knowledge of the Linux ecosystem, both on physical hardware and in cloud environments.
- You have experience deploying, operating, and troubleshooting cloud infrastructure.
- You are comfortable working with container-based systems and modern deployment practices.
- You enjoy solving complex technical problems and are comfortable writing scripts, tools, or code to automate your work.
- You thrive in a collaborative environment where development, operations, support, and field teams work closely together.
Relevant Skills / Experience:
- Python or another programming language
- Azure, AWS, or similar cloud platforms
- Terraform, Ansible, SaltStack, Puppet, Chef, or similar automation and infrastructure-as-code tools
- Cloud security, infrastructure hardening, identity and access management, and network security practices
- Docker/Podman, Kubernetes or container runtimes
- Monitoring, alerting, and incident response tooling
- Virtualization technologies such as Proxmox, VMware or Hyper-V
- Linux networking, iptables, nftables, VPNs, and firewall configuration
- Intrusion detection and prevention systems
What we offer
- A technically challenging role with meaningful ownership of cloud and infrastructure solutions.
- Interesting and engaging tasks that would let your creative mind shine
- Highly skilled and motivated colleagues who are eager to share knowledge — and learn from you.
- The opportunity to help shape the direction of a growing DevOps team.
- Start-up like flexibility, but with security and backing of a leading industry brand
- A healthy balance between work, professional growth, and social life.
