Job Description: Dobbs Defense Solutions is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer skilled in conducting assessments of cybersecurity architectures and implementation and recommend improvements in flexibility, scalability, and security. The candidate would attend coordination and synchronization sessions within the geographic area focused on cybersecurity tasking, operations support, and maintenance of cybersecurity systems. The candidate would maintain awareness of system security status and recommend solutions to prevent unauthorized activities. Provide engineering guidance to cybersecurity engineers Level I and II and guide the implementation of appropriate operational structures and processes to ensure an effective cybersecurity program. Duties: - Initiates actions to conduct cybersecurity engineering research and analysis and provides recommendations for the implementation of security mechanisms - Develops and delivers articulate and effective briefings/presentations on complex cybersecurity engineering topics as applicable to assigned projects to any size audience that may include high-level decision makers - Plans and schedules the installation of new or modified security hardware, operating systems, and software applications - Analyzes complex information independently and takes appropriate actions, and reviews and implements recommendations from other - Coordinates effort to develop all cybersecurity documentation, concept papers, and test plans required by Command policies and the Risk Management Framework - Maintains comprehensive knowledge and understanding of DOD and/or Intelligence Community (IC) engineering efforts, across multiple engineering disciplines Qualifications: Required Education and Experience: - Minimum 15 years of experience with cybersecurity or information assurance - Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in a technical or business discipline from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, or related discipline - Minimum DOD 8140/DOD 8570 IAM Level II Certification Working Environment: On Site Required Clearance: Active Top Secret SCI w/CI poly Our Equal Employment Opportunity Policy: Dobbs Defense Solutions is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer. Salary Range: Pay range information will be disclosed consistent with applicable state and local pay transparency laws once available. For this position, the anticipated salary range is $118,000.000-$125,000.00, depending on experience, qualifications, and overall fit for the role.
