Job Description

CloudStakes Technology Pvt. Ltd. is hiring an experienced Database Administrator to manage, optimize, and secure database environments across enterprise client projects. You will ensure high availability, performance, and data integrity for mission-critical systems. This is an opportunity to work on large-scale database ecosystems with global technology clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and maintain database systems (SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL)
  • Monitor database performance, diagnose bottlenecks, and implement optimization strategies
  • Design and manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures
  • Implement and enforce database security policies and access controls
  • Perform database capacity planning and storage management
  • Collaborate with developers to review schemas, queries, and indexing strategies
  • Ensure database high availability through replication, clustering, and failover configurations

Requirements

  • 5–10+ years of experience as a Database Administrator
  • Proficiency in one or more: Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle DB, PostgreSQL, or MySQL
  • Strong expertise in query optimization, indexing, and execution plan analysis
  • Experience with backup and recovery tools and strategies
  • Knowledge of high availability and disaster recovery architectures
  • Familiarity with cloud database services (AWS RDS, Azure SQL, or GCP Cloud SQL)
  • Experience with automation scripting (PowerShell, Bash, or Python) for DBA tasks
