Job Description

Computing Concepts Inc. (CCI) is seeking a Senior UI Developer with 10+ years of overall experience for an onsite role in San Jose, CA. The role requires strong hands-on React expertise to build high-quality, reusable front-end components and translate designs into production-quality code. This is an H1B-only position and candidates must be local to the San Jose area.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop web-based UI using JavaScript and React with TypeScript
  • Build high quality reusable components and front-end libraries for future use
  • Translate designs and wireframes into high quality code
  • Optimize components for maximum performance across a wide range of browsers
  • Work with Redux/Flux and modern React tooling such as Webpack
  • Integrate with RESTful APIs
  • Follow Agile/iterative development processes
  • Collaborate as an open-minded team player, accepting feedback and offering suggestions
  • Write crisp, clear code based on guidelines and best practices
  • Troubleshoot and resolve front-end issues

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of total experience in UI development
  • Minimum 4-5 years of hands-on experience in React JS
  • Strong experience with JavaScript, React, and TypeScript
  • Proficiency with React tooling such as Webpack, Redux, and Flux
  • In-depth knowledge of JavaScript, CSS, SCSS, HTML, and front-end languages
  • Familiarity with version control tools such as Git and SVN
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs
  • Knowledge of software development methodologies and design patterns, especially Agile
  • Good time management, project management, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of Node.js and Angular is a plus
  • Must hold H1B visa status
  • Must be local to San Jose, CA
