Job Description

Customer Documentation Developer is responsible for planning, creating, and maintaining technical documentation and user guides for products, systems, and solutions. This includes web-based publications, graphical user interfaces (GUIs), and multimedia content, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and usability for both internal teams and external customers. Customer Documentation Developer independently creates high-quality, user-focused technical documentation for complex Fixed Networks products. Responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams, managing documentation schedules, and delivering web-based content aligned with Agile and DevOps practices, while following structured writing methodologies and corporate quality standards. ### Responsibilities - Design and develop high-quality, customer-oriented technical documentation for complex broadband access products, aligning with SDLC, DDLC, and structured writing principles. - Independently manage documentation schedules and deliverables, ensuring timely releases that align with product development timelines. - Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including PLM, R&D, and Test to gather accurate technical information for documentation. - Develop and maintain documentation and integrate content into web-based publications using Markup (Asciidoc/XML)/Markdown languages - Use various authoring tools like Arbortext, Oxygen XML, and graphic editors (e.g., SnagIt) based on project requirements - Leverage Agile methodologies and DevOps practices to align documentation workflows with continuous software delivery cycles. - Utilize defect-tracking and content management systems (e.g., Jira, Confluence) to manage content lifecycle, reviews, and updates. - Create single-sourced, reusable content within a structured content management environment to ensure consistency and scalability. ### Qualifications You have: - Bachelor Degree with 7-12 years of experience in technical documentation, preferably in the Telecommunications or Optical Networking domain. - Proven expertise in structured writing principles, the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), and the Documentation Development Life Cycle (DDLC). - Strong proficiency in XML authoring tools (e.g., Arbortext or Oxygen) and graphic tools (e.g., SnagIt, CorelDraw). - Familiarity with Markup languages (like XML, Asciidoc) and Markdown.
