Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Cyber Security Engineer (Staff / Lead Level) to join our Information Security & Compliance team and play a key role in designing, implementing and continuously improving A2MAC1's cybersecurity engineering capabilities.
Based in our Casablanca office, you will provide technical leadership across security architecture, cloud security, detection engineering and platform protection. Working closely with the Cyber Security Manager / Director, you will drive scalable security engineering initiatives, transform security operations into engineering solutions, and strengthen the security posture of our global software platform.
In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams, define security standards and best practices, improve automation and detection capabilities, and contribute to the delivery of secure, reliable and innovative SaaS, cloud and AI-driven solutions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Define and maintain security architectures, standards and engineering guardrails across cloud, endpoint, identity, DevSecOps, data and AI environments
- Lead security engineering initiatives and translate security strategy into scalable technical solutions
- Drive detection engineering and automation to improve incident response and platform resilience
- Collaborate with the SOC to transform detections and incidents into long-term engineering improvements
- Design and implement security controls across software development and cloud platforms
- Lead threat modeling, risk reduction and secure-by-design initiatives
- Define security metrics, KPIs and engineering telemetry to measure platform security and reliability
- Contribute to CI/CD security, application security and cloud security best practices
- Provide technical leadership across engineering teams and promote security standards through collaboration and mentoring
- Support audit readiness and continuous compliance with security frameworks and industry standards
PROFILE & SKILLS
Must-Have
- 8+ years of experience in Cybersecurity, Security Engineering, Cloud Security or Application Security
- Strong experience with security architecture, cloud environments and modern security engineering practices
- Experience designing and implementing security controls across cloud and software platforms
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft security technologies (Azure, Defender, Sentinel, Entra, Purview or equivalent)
- Experience with SIEM, SOAR, detection engineering and security automation
- Strong understanding of DevSecOps, CI/CD security and secure software development lifecycle
- Experience with ISO 27001, NIST and security governance frameworks
- Strong stakeholder management and technical leadership skills
- Professional level of English
Nice to Have
- CISSP, CCSP, SABSA or equivalent security certifications
- Azure Security, Microsoft Defender, Sentinel or related Microsoft certifications
- Experience in automotive or industrial environments
- Experience working with outsourced SOC providers
- Knowledge of TISAX and GDPR requirements
- French, German or Chinese language skills
