Ensign is hiring !
We are seeking a hands-on Operations Engineer to manage and support enterprise endpoint environments, with a strong focus on Microsoft Intune and modern device management. The role is responsible for ensuring secure, reliable, and efficient endpoint operations across corporate devices while supporting users and business functions.
**Key Responsibilities**
Endpoint & Device Management
- Administer and manage endpoints using Microsoft Intune and Microsoft Endpoint Manager
- Manage device lifecycle including provisioning, configuration, patching, compliance enforcement, and decommissioning
- Implement and maintain device configuration profiles, security baselines, and compliance policies
- Support Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android enterprise environments
Operations & Support
- Provide Level 2/3 operational support for endpoint and mobility issues
- Monitor endpoint health, performance, and security posture
- Troubleshoot device enrollment, policy conflicts, patch failures, and application deployment issues
- Support software packaging, deployment, and updates across managed devices
- Work closely with Service Desk to resolve escalated endpoint incidents
Security & Compliance
- Enforce endpoint security policies including encryption, conditional access, and device compliance
- Support audit and governance requirements related to endpoint management
- Collaborate with cybersecurity teams on vulnerability remediation and incident response
Automation & ContinuousImprovement
- Develop scripts and automation to improve operational efficiency
- Maintain documentation, SOPs, and knowledge base articles
- Recommend improvements to endpoint architecture and device management processes
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune and modern endpoint management
- Strong knowledge of Windows device management and Active Directory / Azure AD
- Experience with Group Policy, device imaging, and patch management
- Familiarity with endpoint security controls and compliance enforcement
- Experience supporting enterprise mobility (MDM/MAM)
- Experience with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Autopilot, and conditional access
- Scripting skills (PowerShell preferred)
- Knowledge of endpoint security tools (Defender, EDR solutions)
- ITIL environment experience
- You will be required to be on be on shift schedule.
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma or Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
- At least 2 years of experience in IT operations, endpoint management, or EUC engineering
- Experience supporting enterprise-scale environments
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage incidents under SLA-driven environments
- Good stakeholder communication skills
- Detail-oriented with strong operational discipline
- Good to have certifications with Microsoft Endpoint Administrator Associate, ITIL Foundation
