Job Description

Delta System & Software, Inc. is looking for an experienced Mainframe Developer to join a client engagement in Columbus, OH. The role involves developing, enhancing, and supporting mainframe applications across core banking/enterprise systems using COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM, and CICS.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain mainframe applications using COBOL and JCL
  • Write and optimize DB2 SQL for application data access
  • Develop and support CICS online transactions
  • Manage and maintain VSAM files for application processing
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues on mainframe systems
  • Collaborate with business and technical teams on enhancements

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience with COBOL and JCL
  • Strong knowledge of DB2 database development
  • Experience with VSAM file structures
  • Experience with CICS transaction processing
  • Ability to work onsite in Columbus, OH
