Job Description
Delta System & Software, Inc. is looking for an experienced Mainframe Developer to join a client engagement in Columbus, OH. The role involves developing, enhancing, and supporting mainframe applications across core banking/enterprise systems using COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM, and CICS.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain mainframe applications using COBOL and JCL
- Write and optimize DB2 SQL for application data access
- Develop and support CICS online transactions
- Manage and maintain VSAM files for application processing
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues on mainframe systems
- Collaborate with business and technical teams on enhancements
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with COBOL and JCL
- Strong knowledge of DB2 database development
- Experience with VSAM file structures
- Experience with CICS transaction processing
- Ability to work onsite in Columbus, OH
