This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Developer Community Programs Manager based in the United States. Working closely with product, engineering, marketing, developer relations, and partner teams, you will design engaging experiences that strengthen relationships with technical communities and expand the reach of developer initiatives. This position is ideal for someone who combines technical credibility with exceptional program management skills and enjoys building scalable, community-driven experiences that contribute directly to platform growth and long-term business success. ### Accountabilities - Develop, execute, and scale a portfolio of developer engagement programs, including hackathons, Developer Days, technical workshops, webinars, API and SDK training sessions, build challenges, office hours, and peer-learning events. - Serve as the central point of coordination for developer-focused initiatives, ensuring alignment across marketing, product, engineering, developer relations, events, and partner teams. - Translate broader platform and developer strategies into engaging programs that help developers discover, build, extend, and innovate using available technologies. - Build and maintain strong relationships with developer communities, technology partners, universities, open-source organizations, event organizers, and industry influencers. - Collaborate with technical experts to develop high-quality educational content, demonstrations, tutorials, learning journeys, and technical resources. - Create seamless engagement pathways that encourage ongoing participation through community platforms, technical documentation, future events, and ecosystem opportunities. - Collect, analyze, and communicate developer feedback to product, engineering, and leadership teams to influence future platform improvements and community initiatives. - Establish repeatable program frameworks, operational playbooks, and scalable processes that support global developer engagement across products and regions. - Monitor program performance by tracking participation, engagement, community growth, conversion metrics, partner contributions, and overall business impact. - Represent developer community interests internally while helping strengthen collaboration across cross-functional teams. ## Requirements - 5–7 years of experience in developer programs, developer relations, technical community management, ecosystem marketing, technical product marketing, partner programs, or similar roles. - Proven experience organizing and delivering developer-focused initiatives such as hackathons, workshops, webinars, technical events, learning programs, or community engagement activities. - Strong technical understanding of APIs, SDKs, developer tools, software platforms, and modern developer workflows. - Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences while translating complex concepts into engaging experiences. - Excellent program and project management skills with experience coordinating multiple stakeholders, priorities, timelines, and deliverables. - Demonstrated success collaborating across product management, engineering, developer relations, marketing, partnerships, community, and events teams. - Experience building partnerships with developer communities, universities, technology organizations, industry groups, or open-source ecosystems. - Outstanding written, verbal, presentation, and relationship-building skills. - Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable working independently in a distributed, cross-functional environment. - Familiarity with GitHub, developer portals, community platforms, technical events, or developer communications is preferred. - Willingness to travel occasionally as required. ## Benefits - Flexible home-based or hybrid work arrangement within the Eastern Time Zone (United States). - Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package. - Opportunity to work for a global software organization driving innovation in infrastructure technology. - Inclusive workplace that promotes diversity, belonging, and employee well-being. - Professional development and career advancement opportunities. - Collaborative, international work environment with cross-functional exposure. - Meaningful work that contributes to building more sustainable, resilient, and connected infrastructure worldwide. - Supportive company culture focused on innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.
