Job Description
Summary
We are looking for a DevOps Engineer with at least 2 years of experience in DevOps practices to join our team. You will help us build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes infrastructure, and supporting systems.

This role is perfect for someone who already has hands-on experience and is eager to grow their skills in automation, containerization, virtualization, and deployment processes while collaborating closely with development and IT teams.
Key Responsibilities
- CI/CD Pipelines: Assist in designing, maintaining, and improving CI/CD pipelines for internal projects.
- Kubernetes & Containerization: Deploy, configure, and manage Kubernetes clusters; maintain Docker images and container registries.
- Virtualization: Operate and maintain virtualized environments, including KVM-based infrastructure.
- Networking: Support basic to intermediate networking tasks such as connectivity troubleshooting, load balancing, and service exposure.
- Infrastructure as Code: Work with IaC tools for automated infrastructure provisioning.
- Monitoring & Observability: Integrate and manage monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana) to ensure system reliability and performance.
- System Administration: Administer Linux systems and support internal platform services.
- Security & Compliance: Collaborate on applying security policies and DevSecOps best practices.
- Collaboration: Work closely with development teams to streamline deployments and improve delivery processes.
Required Experience
- 2+ years of experience in DevOps or a similar role.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (GitLab CI, Jenkins, or similar).
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of Kubernetes administration and application deployment.
- Solid understanding of Linux system administration.
- Experience with Docker and container technologies.
- Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, load balancing, troubleshooting).
- Understanding of security standards and best practices.
Preferred Experience (Nice to Have)
- Experience with KVM or other virtualization technologies.
- Familiarity with IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible).
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Zabbix).
- Knowledge of AAA systems (AD, FreeIPA).
- Familiarity with Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence).
- Experience with installation, configuration, and operation of platform services such as:
- Kafka or other messaging systems
- Relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MariaDB)
- Monitoring and metrics backends
Soft Skills
- Strong communication skills and ability to present ideas clearly and assertively.
- English proficiency (B1 or higher) for technical communication.
- Willingness to learn new technologies and improve existing systems.
Basic wage component (brutto): from 2700 EUR
\ The final basic wage component can be increased accordingly to individual skills and experience of the selected candidate.
\ Performance bonus 2 times per year up to 10% of the basic salary paid for the evaluation period(usually 6 months).
