Job Description

This role is for one of the Weekday's clients Salary range: Rs 2500000 - Rs 3800000 (ie INR 25-38 LPA) Experience: 9+ yrs Location: Mumbai Job Type: Full-Time We are looking for a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and optimize modern cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines that enable reliable, secure, and scalable software delivery. This role is ideal for professionals with strong expertise in cloud platforms, automation, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and containerized environments who are passionate about improving development efficiency and operational excellence. As a DevOps Engineer, you will work closely with development, operations, and product teams to automate deployment processes, enhance system reliability, optimize cloud resources, and drive DevOps best practices across the organization. You will also play a key role in mentoring team members and contributing to infrastructure architecture and continuous improvement initiatives. ### Key Responsibilities - Design, build, and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines to streamline software integration, testing, and deployment across multiple environments. - Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or GCP using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) methodologies. - Automate software deployments, configuration management, and routine operational tasks to improve efficiency and consistency. - Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to ensure high system availability, reliability, and performance. - Troubleshoot infrastructure and application issues, identify performance bottlenecks, and implement scalable, cost-effective solutions. - Manage containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes while supporting GitOps and deployment automation practices. - Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to improve release processes and ensure smooth production deployments. - Participate in infrastructure architecture discussions and design scalable on-premises and cloud-based solutions. - Drive the adoption of DevOps best practices, security standards, and automation across engineering teams. - Mentor junior engineers and promote a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and operational excellence. ### What Makes You a Great Fit - Strong hands-on experience in DevOps, AWS, and CI/CD pipeline development and management. - Deep understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP and cloud-native infrastructure management. - Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and deployment tools such as GitOps and ArgoCD. - Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and Bash for automation and workflow optimization. - Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and centralized logging solutions. - Strong knowledge of software deployment strategies, configuration management, and infrastructure automation. - Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve complex infrastructure challenges. - Strong communication and collaboration skills with experience working across cross-functional engineering teams. - Leadership mindset with the ability to mentor engineers, drive technical initiatives, and promote DevOps best practices. - Passion for automation, continuous improvement, scalability, and building highly reliable cloud infrastructure.
