Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Java-based full stack web applications
• Build and integrate AWS cloud services into enterprise solutions
• Collaborate with government agency stakeholders to gather and implement requirements
• Develop RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
• Participate in code reviews and ensure high code quality standards
• Support deployment, configuration, and maintenance of applications on AWS
• Work with front-end frameworks to deliver end-to-end solutions
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner

Requirements

• 14+ years of experience in Java full stack development
• Strong proficiency in Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, and Spring MVC
• Hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, etc.)
• Experience with front-end technologies such as Angular, React, or JavaScript
• Prior state government project experience highly preferred
• Local candidates to Glen Allen, VA area strongly preferred
• Must be available for in-person interview
• Experience with RESTful web services and microservices
• Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
