Job Description
Providing framework support for a large engineering organization of 1,000+ engineers, including training, API design, and building reusable cross-platform components and libraries.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide framework support and training to 1,000+ engineers
- Design intuitive, functional and extensible APIs
- Build cross-platform components and libraries for future reuse and open source
- Optimize software for performance across web-capable devices, browsers, and servers
- Automate builds, testing, and deployments
- Review pull requests and identify breaking changes
- Communicate technical concepts to users in writing and speaking
- Identify functionality suitable for open-source contribution
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, Node.js, TypeScript, and React, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
- Knowledge of Accessibility and Web Standards
- Understanding of React and its core principles
- Familiarity with newer specifications of ECMAScript
- Experience with JavaScript tooling such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, and Yarn
- Experience writing automated tests including unit, integration, visual, and performance testing
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical requirements
- Ability to perform benchmarking and optimization
