Job Description

Digitive is seeking an experienced Software Developer with strong healthcare domain expertise, preferably including HEDIS, to join a remote engineering team. The role blends full-stack development with cloud, container, and DevOps responsibilities, building and operating secure microservices in a production healthcare environment. Candidates should be comfortable using enterprise-approved AI coding assistants as part of the standard development workflow.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain full-stack applications using Angular/React and Node.js and/or Django
  • Develop and integrate REST APIs against SQL Server and MongoDB data stores
  • Build, deploy, and operate secure microservices on Kubernetes, Nomad, or Azure Container Apps
  • Manage cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines on Azure using Terraform
  • Implement observability and provide production support for live healthcare systems
  • Apply HEDIS and broader healthcare domain knowledge to feature design and data handling
  • Use enterprise-approved AI tools such as GitHub Copilot or Microsoft 365 Copilot in daily development work

Requirements

  • 6-8 years of professional software development experience
  • Healthcare domain experience, preferably including HEDIS
  • Baseline proficiency with enterprise-approved AI tools (GitHub Copilot or Microsoft 365 Copilot)
  • Full-stack experience with Angular/React, Node.js and/or Django, REST APIs, SQL Server, MongoDB
  • Experience with Kubernetes/Nomad/Azure Container Apps, Azure, CI/CD, and Terraform
  • Experience building secure microservices with production support and observability practices
