## Description ### Start a Career That Changes Lives – Including Yours! ### Direct Support Professional (DSP) – Weekend Only Northern Virginia (Alexandria, Annandale, Arlington, Ashburn, Burke, Falls Church, Manassas, Springfield, Vienna, Woodbridge) Weekend Shifts Only Base Pay: $17/hr + $4/hr Weekend Differential Earn $21/hr for qualifying weekend hours Start a career that truly makes a difference. Eligible DSPs receive an additional $4/hour for qualifying weekend hours (Friday 11:00 PM – Monday 9:00 AM) in designated residential programs. No experience? No problem. Paid training provided. What You’ll Do - Support daily living activities (meals, hygiene, medications) - Help individuals engage in the community and build relationships - Document care and collaborate with your team - Be a positive, reliable presence Meaningful work. Real impact. ## Requirements Minimum Qualifications Required: - Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record. - High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. - Ability to cook and manage household tasks. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to show empathy and understand the needs of individuals with disabilities. - Willingness to learn and participate in job-specific training and ongoing professional development. - Basic computer skills for documentation, communication, and training purposes. Physical Demands - Requires light and/or heavy lifting, repetitive bending, sight, hearing, and ability to move with ease. - Must be able to climb, bend, stoop, push, lift, pull, reach, sit and walk for periods of time.
