Position Summary
MIRACORP is seeking an experienced Lead Drupal Developer to provide technical leadership for the design, development, and maintenance of enterprise Drupal websites and applications supporting federal clients. This role will lead Drupal architecture, custom development, system integrations, and platform optimization while ensuring compliance with federal security, accessibility, and web standards.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture, development, and maintenance of Drupal 9/10+ websites and applications.
- Design and develop custom Drupal modules, themes, and site functionality.
- Provide technical leadership, code reviews, and mentorship to development teams.
- Integrate Drupal with APIs, enterprise systems, and third-party applications.
- Optimize website performance, scalability, and security.
- Support CI/CD pipelines, Git workflows, configuration management, and automated deployments.
- Ensure compliance with federal security standards, Section 508/WCAG accessibility requirements, and U.S. Web Design System (USWDS) guidelines.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and maintain technical documentation.
Minimum Education & Experience Requirements
- US Citizen
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of Drupal 9/10+ development experience, including custom modules, theming, and site architecture.
- Strong proficiency in PHP, Twig, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frontend frameworks.
- Experience with Composer, Git, CI/CD, DevOps tools, and Drupal performance optimization.
- Knowledge of secure coding practices, federal web standards, and accessibility requirements.
- Experience supporting Federal Government web applications is preferred.
