This role will lead Drupal architecture, custom development, system integrations, and platform optimization while ensuring compliance with federal security, accessibility, and web standards. Essential Duties & Responsibilities - Lead the architecture, development, and maintenance of Drupal 9/10+ websites and applications. - Design and develop custom Drupal modules, themes, and site functionality. - Provide technical leadership, code reviews, and mentorship to development teams. - Integrate Drupal with APIs, enterprise systems, and third-party applications. - Optimize website performance, scalability, and security. - Support CI/CD pipelines, Git workflows, configuration management, and automated deployments. - Ensure compliance with federal security standards, Section 508/WCAG accessibility requirements, and U.S. Web Design System (USWDS) guidelines. - Troubleshoot technical issues and maintain technical documentation. Minimum Education & Experience Requirements - US Citizen - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience). - 5+ years of Drupal 9/10+ development experience, including custom modules, theming, and site architecture. - Strong proficiency in PHP, Twig, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frontend frameworks. - Experience with Composer, Git, CI/CD, DevOps tools, and Drupal performance optimization. - Knowledge of secure coding practices, federal web standards, and accessibility requirements. - Experience supporting Federal Government web applications is preferred.
