Job Description
DXC Technology is hiring a Senior Software Developer for its Customer Engineering (Networking) team. The role focuses on working directly with enterprise networking customers to design, debug, and deliver networking software solutions, collaborating closely with product engineering and support teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with customers to troubleshoot and resolve complex networking software issues
- Develop and maintain features for networking products in collaboration with core engineering teams
- Reproduce and debug field-reported defects in lab and customer environments
- Write technical documentation and knowledge base articles for recurring issues
- Collaborate with QA and support teams to improve product reliability
Requirements
- 5+ years of software development experience in networking products
- Strong programming skills in C/C++ or Python
- Solid understanding of TCP/IP, routing, and switching concepts
- Experience with customer-facing technical engagements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or related field
