Job Description

We are hiring a Python Fullstack Lead for a hybrid C2C engagement in Old Bridge, NJ. The role involves leading distributed, multi-service systems development, driving developer platform and internal tooling initiatives, and integrating frontend and backend systems across microfrontend and microservice architectures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead technical design and development of distributed, multi-service systems using Python and Django
  • Build and maintain frontend applications using Node.js, React, and TypeScript
  • Design and implement GraphQL APIs
  • Lead developer platform and internal tooling initiatives
  • Integrate frontend and backend systems in microfrontend and microservice architectures
  • Drive Docker and container orchestration practices, especially Docker Compose in local dev environments
  • Improve CI/CD reliability and automate quality checks
  • Collaborate cross-team on system design, scalability, and performance optimization

Requirements

  • 11+ years of software engineering experience, including 3+ years in technical leadership
  • Strong Python and Django expertise in distributed/multi-service systems
  • Proficiency in Node.js, React, TypeScript, and GraphQL
  • Strong Docker and container orchestration experience
  • Experience leading developer platform or internal tooling initiatives
  • Experience integrating frontend and backend systems in microfrontend and microservice architectures
  • Strong Linux and shell scripting skills; comfortable with Make-driven developer workflows
  • Proven ability to improve CI/CD reliability and automate quality checks
  • Strong understanding of system design, scalability, and performance optimization
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP preferred)
  • Proficiency in database technologies (SQL/NoSQL)
  • Excellent communication and cross-team collaboration skills
  • Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills
