Job Description

We are hiring on behalf of a prestigious client for a Mobile Software Engineer III specializing in Flutter development. The role is hybrid and requires a hands-on senior engineer comfortable building production Flutter apps end to end, integrating native Android/iOS capabilities, and working within a clean, testable architecture alongside a mobile engineering team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using Flutter and Dart 3.x
  • Implement native Android/iOS functionality using Kotlin or Swift, including Flutter Method Channels where needed
  • Design and integrate REST and GraphQL APIs
  • Apply MVVM or Clean Architecture principles across the codebase
  • Integrate Firebase services including Analytics, Crashlytics, Remote Config, and Notifications
  • Manage local data persistence using SQLite or Hive
  • Implement analytics and payment gateway integrations
  • Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Fastlane, or Firebase App Distribution

Requirements

  • 5+ years of overall software engineering experience
  • 3+ years hands-on experience with Flutter
  • 3+ years experience with Kotlin or Swift
  • Strong proficiency in Dart and Flutter 3.x
  • Experience with REST and GraphQL APIs
  • Solid understanding of MVVM or Clean Architecture
  • Experience with Firebase (Analytics, Crashlytics, Remote Config, Notifications)
  • Experience building at least one Flutter app from scratch
  • Proficiency with at least 3 state management approaches (Provider, Riverpod, BLoC, GetX)
  • Experience with SQLite or Hive, analytics integration, payment gateways, or native method channels (at least 5 of 6 listed areas)
  • Preferred: GitHub Actions, Fastlane, Firebase App Distribution, Lottie/Rive animations, AI/LLM-powered mobile apps, OAuth 2.0/OpenID Connect
