Job Summary The Entry‑Level Product Engineer supports manufacturing and aerospace operations by assisting in process optimization, production troubleshooting, continuous improvement initiatives, assembly, and testing of valves. This role is ideal for a recent engineering graduate looking to gain hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment while developing technical, analytical, and problem‑solving skills. Key Responsibilities - Assemble and test Aerospace valves - Assist in executing, monitoring, and improving daily production processes - Collect, analyze, and report production data (efficiency, yield, downtime, scrap) - Support troubleshooting of equipment and process-related issues - Help document standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and process flows - Participate in continuous improvement projects (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen) - Assist with root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions - Work closely with technician, quality, and senior engineers - Support new product or process introductions under supervision - Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and environmental standards - Participate in training sessions and on-the-job learning activities Required Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Production, Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, or related field) - Internship, co‑op, or project experience in a manufacturing environment (preferred) - Basic understanding of manufacturing principles and production processes - Strong willingness to learn and work in hands-on production settings - Good analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills - Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint Preferred Skills (Nice to Have) - Exposure to Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma concepts - Familiarity with CAD tools, ERP systems, or basic automation concepts - Basic knowledge of quality tools (5 Whys, Fishbone, SPC) - Strong teamwork and communication skills - Ability to work effectively on the shop floor Training & Development - On-the-job training with experienced engineers and supervisors - Exposure to manufacturing equipment, processes, and production systems - Opportunities to earn Lean or Six Sigma certification - Gradual increase in responsibility with performance and experience Work Environment - Manufacturing or production facility - Combination of office work and shop-floor presence - May involve standing for extended periods and wearing PPE Career Progression - Project Manager - Product Engineer - Production Engineer - Process Engineer - Manufacturing Engineer - Continuous Improvement Engineer - Operations or Production Supervisor All candidates must meet the US persons criteria.
