Job Description

As an Engineer, you will…
- Producing and coordinating calculations, specifications, drawings, and consultant inputs for complex projects
- Work in an integrated environment, develop solutions to advanced design challenges, ensuring code compliance and interfacing with regulatory agencies
- Coordinate technical efforts across clients, consultants, contractors, and authorities to maintain project alignment
- Oversee construction administration, identifying impacts to budget, schedule, costs, and risk, and advising project leadership
- Support and implement project management plans, guiding team execution and ensuring adherence to established processes
- Direct and mentor junior team members; lead small projects and contribute to larger project delivery
- Evaluate scope changes, advising on cost and schedule implications and assisting in proposal development when needed
- Uphold quality standards through QA/QC coordination, document review, and effective collaboration across multidisciplinary teams
The Must-Haves
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering and 4+ years of structural engineering design experience.
- California Professional Engineering license - Civil.
- Intermediate skills in Bluebeam, ETABS, SAP, RAM, RISA, Enercalc, MS Office
- Good understanding of Revit
- Proficiency in the design and detailing of steel, concrete, wood, and masonry structural systems.
- Proficiency in the analysis of vertical and lateral force-resisting systems for structures.
- Proficiency in applicable building and reference materials codes.
The Like-to-Haves
- Passion for mentoring up-and-coming structural Engineers.
- Experience in K-12, healthcare, or civic projects.

Salary Range: $99,400- $135,000 annually. Compensation and level DOE.
