Together, we will work to shape the future through innovation and continuous learning. # Position Details Job Title: Engineering Manager – Full Stack (Node.js) Function/Department: Technology Experience: 10–14 Years Location: Hyderabad # Role Overview Position Summary: We are seeking a hands-on Engineering Manager to lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable full stack web applications. This role operates at a 70% technical / 30% management split – the ideal candidate remains deeply embedded in architecture and engineering decisions while building and guiding a high-performing team. You will bring strong expertise in Node.js, modern front-end frameworks, and cloud-native platforms, paired with the ability to lead with clarity, ownership, and purpose. Key Responsibilities: - Lead end-to-end architecture and development of scalable full stack web applications, from requirements gathering to production deployment - Actively contribute to critical modules, core services, and system design – hands-on engineering is a core expectation of this role - Define and enforce engineering standards: coding conventions, design patterns, security baselines, and performance benchmarks - Design and govern RESTful APIs, GraphQL services, and microservices architecture across distributed systems - Drive performance optimization, scalability planning, and production reliability - Lead technical discovery and solutioning for new features, integrations, and platform migrations - Own CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices in collaboration with the DevOps team - Conduct deep-dive code reviews and architectural walkthroughs ensuring correctness and maintainability - Champion automated testing strategy – unit, integration, and end-to-end coverage - Lead and grow a team of 6–12 engineers; manage hiring, onboarding, and career development - Set clear goals, expectations, and performance benchmarks; conduct regular 1:1s and performance reviews - Mentor senior and mid-level engineers toward technical leadership; build a culture of ownership and accountability - Partner with Product Management to translate business requirements into engineering roadmaps and delivery plans - Collaborate with cross-functional teams (QA, DevOps, Product Management) to ensure smooth delivery and quality - Manage project timelines, dependencies, and technical risk; communicate status and blockers to leadership proactively - Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends; drive continuous adoption of better engineering practices Technical Skills: - Proficient in front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript / TypeScript, Angular / Vue.js - Strong back-end expertise in Node.js; working knowledge of Java, Python, or .NET - Database expertise: SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL), NoSQL (MongoDB, Cassandra) - Experience with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and microservices architecture - Familiarity with cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or GCP - CI/CD tools and DevOps practices - Version control: Git, GitHub / GitLab / Bitbucket - Unit testing, integration testing, and automated testing frameworks ### Qualifications - Bachelor’s / master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field - Over 12 years of hands-on experience in full stack development with at least 2–3 years in a technical lead or engineering manager role - Proven track record of delivering large-scale, distributed, cloud-hosted applications - Demonstrated ability to grow engineering teams and develop technical talent - Strong communication and stakeholder management skills # Why Join Us?
