Job Description
T&M Associates is seeking a talented Environmental Scientist II to join our Environmental Market in the Indianapolis, IN office. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse environmental compliance projects, compliance reporting, and data analysis.
You’ll collaborate with internal teams of scientists, engineers, and safety professionals, while gaining direct client exposure across various industries. You’ll analyze complex issues, recommend solutions, and help with mid-sized project execution. This position is a client-facing role offering opportunities to engage with unique projects and support in-office collaboration.
**Responsibilities**:
- Support environmental compliance initiatives related to the Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, RCRA, and hazardous materials management
- Analyze environmental data and prepare regulatory reports
- Collaborate with internal project teams and directly interface with clients to provide technical guidance and support
- Assist with planning, scheduling, and coordination of project deliverables
- Recommend practical, science-based solutions to technical challenges
- Assist with the implementation of client specific programs and policies
- Occasional travel to support field activities and client engagement
- Additional opportunities to support Health and Safety initiatives with in-office and client collaboration
**Qualifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in environmental compliance
- LPG, CHMM, ASP license/certification preferred
- Working knowledge of federal and state environmental regulations
- Highly analytical with experience working with large data sets
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), Adobe Acrobat, and other relevant software

T&M estimates that the salary range for this position will fall between $69,000- $82,000**.** The actual salary offered may vary within this range, depending on a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, educational qualifications, specific skills and knowledge, as well as internal pay equity and geographic location.
