Job Description

eRay Technologies is hiring a senior UI React Developer to join a client engagement in Phoenix, AZ. This role calls for a seasoned front-end engineer with 8+ years of experience building modern, scalable web applications using React and the broader JavaScript/TypeScript ecosystem, who can work across the front-end and Node.js back-end stack, contribute to CI/CD-driven delivery, and collaborate through a standard Git branching and code-review workflow.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain front-end applications using React (Angular or Vue.js experience also relevant)
  • Write clean, typed code in JavaScript and TypeScript
  • Implement responsive UI using HTML, CSS, Tailwind CSS, and preprocessors like Sass or Less
  • Develop and maintain Node.js applications and APIs using frameworks such as Express, Next.js, Nest.js, or LitElement
  • Write and maintain automated tests using Jest and Cypress
  • Configure and maintain front-end build tooling such as Webpack, Gulp, or Grunt
  • Collaborate using Git with gitflow or similar branching models and participate in pull request code reviews
  • Support CI/CD pipelines and containerized deployments using Docker and Kubernetes where applicable

Requirements

  • 8+ years of professional experience in UI/front-end development
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript, including React, Angular, or Vue.js
  • Familiarity with Tailwind CSS and CSS preprocessors like Sass or Less
  • Experience writing applications in Node.js
  • Knowledge of frameworks such as Express, Next.js, Nest.js, or LitElement
  • Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest or Cypress
  • Experience with front-end build tools like Webpack, Gulp, or Grunt
  • Hands-on experience with Git and collaborative workflows, including gitflow and pull request-based code reviews
  • Knowledge of CI/CD, Docker, and Kubernetes is a plus
  • Knowledge of browser extension development and mobile development is a plus
