Line of Service Advisory Industry/Sector Technology Specialism Advisory - Other Management Level Senior Associate Job Description & Summary We are seeking a high-performing Senior Associate Frontend Engineer (React) to take ownership of the design and delivery of scalable, high-quality web applications. In this role, you will contribute to frontend architecture decisions, lead feature delivery, and ensure engineering excellence across the development lifecycle while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Key Responsibilities - Own end-to-end delivery of frontend features—from requirement clarification and design alignment through development, testing, and deployment—ensuring timely, high-quality outcomes. - Design, build, and maintain scalable, performant, and maintainable React applications that deliver exceptional user experience. - Contribute to frontend architecture and design decisions, including component structure, state management strategy, and scalability considerations. - Collaborate with UX/UI designers, backend engineers, and product stakeholders to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions. - Ensure code quality and engineering standards through code reviews, automated testing, and adherence to best practices. - Optimize applications for performance, accessibility, and responsiveness across devices and browsers. - Actively troubleshoot and resolve production issues, ensuring reliability and robustness of applications. - Lead and guide junior developers, providing technical direction, mentorship, and support within project workstreams. - Contribute to CI/CD processes and release activities, supporting smooth deployments and issue resolution. - Stay current with emerging frontend technologies and drive continuous improvement in engineering practices. Required Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. - 3+ years of professional frontend development experience, with demonstrated ownership of feature delivery. - Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3. - Deep expertise in React and its ecosystem (Hooks, Context API, modern patterns). - Experience with state management solutions (e.g., Redux Toolkit, Zustand, React Query). - Solid understanding of API integration (REST, asynchronous patterns). - Hands-on experience with version control (Git) and collaborative workflows. - Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and frontend testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Cypress). - Proven ability to deliver in agile, fast-paced environments. Preferred Qualifications - Experience with Next.js and server-side rendering (SSR). - Exposure to micro-frontend architecture and modular frontend design. - Strong understanding of performance optimization and web accessibility (WCAG standards). - Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS) and containerization (Docker). - Experience working in client-facing or consulting environments is a plus.
