Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Scientist with a strong healthcare domain background to join our team in Orlando, FL. This is a hybrid role (3 days onsite) offering the opportunity to drive impactful analytics initiatives across healthcare claims data, predictive modeling, and executive-level reporting. The ideal candidate brings a blend of deep technical expertise and strong business communication skills to translate complex data insights into strategic decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze healthcare claims data and perform advanced statistical modeling including regression, forecasting, and hypothesis testing
- Build and deploy machine learning and predictive analytics models to support clinical and financial decision-making
- Develop and maintain dashboards and data visualizations using Power BI and related tools
- Write optimized SQL queries and manage data pipelines using Snowflake
- Use Python and/or R for data analysis, model development, and automation
- Communicate insights and findings to executive stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in clinical research, finance strategy, and healthcare analytics
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Data Science
- Healthcare domain experience required (clinical research, finance strategy, or healthcare analytics background preferred)
- Proficiency in SQL (must have), Snowflake, Python, and/or R
- Experience with machine learning, predictive analytics, and statistical modeling (regression, forecasting, hypothesis testing)
- Proficiency in Power BI and data visualization tools
- Strong executive stakeholder communication skills
- Master's degree highly preferred
