Job Description

Extend Information Systems is seeking a skilled QA Engineer with Java SDET and automation expertise for a contract position in Phoenix, AZ. This is an on-site role requiring face-to-face interviews and is open only to candidates currently residing in or near Phoenix, AZ. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test frameworks and ensuring high-quality software delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using Java
Write and execute test cases for functional, regression, integration, and performance testing
Work closely with developers to identify defects early in the development cycle
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
Report and track defects, and collaborate on resolution
Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning and retrospectives

Requirements

Strong experience in Java-based test automation (SDET)
Proficiency in tools such as Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, or Cucumber
Experience with API testing (REST Assured or Postman)
Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI
Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology
Must be local to Phoenix, AZ
Must be available for face-to-face interview
